Laparoscopy

This is a surgical procedure which helps the surgeon in checking and treating inside the abdomen and pelvic organs through small incisions with the aid of a camera. The purpose of this type of surgery is to examine the pelvic organs and to remove implants and scar tissue. With the help of a laparoscope the surgeon performs diagnosis or therapeutic interventions inside the abdomen. The recovery from this procedure is quick due to the small incisions.
